I sold my sled so i am getting one of these sleds

2007 yamaha apex mtx with timbersled skid + fox floats rear. 1200 miles
for 6200$

2008 yamaha nytro mtx 5500 with 2200 miles

so which one is better i have ridden my dads apex and i thought it was pretty nice but i havent tried a nytro. which one should i get.

I like the apex better than a nytro, I just liked the apex's handling and the way it rides. However that was on an rtx, and the nytro was a standard model.

Apex has more power, but from what I've read the Nytro is a lot more flickable.

Can we hear what the 3rd option is.

I like the Apex better in this case.
The Nytro's do handle better than Apex's do stock for stock,
But this Apex has the Timbersled skid with Fox Floats.
I REALLY like the Timbersled set up.

And then the power delivery of the Apex is nice.
Especially if you go boosted later.
400 plus HP just wouldn't suck

Sorry The third option is another 2007 apex mtx stock with front fox floats and steelbody shocks rear for $5000 and it has 1250 miles

i went and looked at the apex with timbersled today it looked like new and it also had a aftermarket exaust. however the nytro has a klim wrap that is pink so i dont dig that to much. and its stock.

Please don't ever use that word again. It brings to mind other things. [thumb]
