Well, Which of you have an Xtra 12 on a one passenger Sled and can carry another Passenger without problem????

I think its a crappy suspension. All my friend have one passenger sled and can carry her girlfriend without bottoming out. Formule III, MXZ, XLT 94, Formule PLus, ZR 600. Well its diversified and the only one that have problem with his suspension its me. I have take my sled on my Polaris Dealer but its just ****** young people that work here and they dont have experience. (18 -25) The first thing they have said to me its that cuz i dont have the good Shock hahahah hey man do you think i dont have check this before coming here??? The guys have checked the wrong speck Sled and finally he said to me " Dunno Why" ITS my Last Polaris SLED .... But some of you have good comment about this Suspension????

Jeeze, I don't know what to tell you. I've seen your posts before, and if I remember correctly, you've pretty much checked everything there is to check, even put on stiffer springs right?

Thats too bad about your dealer. They should at least TRY to give you some idea. I have a 97 XLT SP w/ the Xtra 12. I have the same sag everyone else was talking about, but I don't have any problems carrying a second passenger. It squats it down quite a bit and will bottom out if I hit a bump too hard, but all things being equal, I can carry two people.

I know none of this really helps you and I can understand your frustration. The only other thing I might suggest is to call another Polaris dealer and explain the entire situation to them, including what happened at the previous dealer. See what they say. Good luck man.

The Dealer sell me a stiffer spring for my rear rear shock. Now my shock is scrap cuz going up too quickly. 100$ in trash
That sucks man. I suppose the dealer didn't offer to replace the shock either, right? If he suggested putting the stiffer spring on, and it ended up breaking your shock, I'd want to say that he's liable. But if he's been giving you trouble, chances are he'd just say that the shock was bad to begin with and would of ended up giving out anyways. I'd look for a different dealer, and tell them what happened at your old one.

thx tfin70 for your comments. The shock wasnt Bad and no, he didnt offer me to change shock. The problem i have is that i need to make 400km to find another Polaris Dealer
Hey, can you tone down the language? We are sorry that you cannot setup your sled properly, stiffen the suspension, get a new rear spring or tell your girlfriend to lose some weight.

He who loves not his country can love nothing
Shanet, whats your problem, dont read if your offensed , but about what .....
You won't buy another Polaris because you don't like the XTRA-12?

Well, Polaris has different suspensions. I have an XTRA-10 and I have never had a problem, they have the Edge now, which is awesome.

Fortress, it doesn't work that way, we don't approve of that language, but shanet, you don't need to insult people.

This place is for everyone, and there should be no "strong" language because this site is for everyone, and there may be kids visiting.

not Just bEcause The Xtra-12 But cuz the great service The Polaris Dealer give to me. I have only one Polaris Dealer in my town, so i will switch to another and switch brand
So, you will switch because your dealer is bad? And that, in your mind, makes all polaris sleds bad? Hmm, anyways...have you made sure the track isn't too lose, the springs aren't weak, the shock isn't broken inside or there is some type of internal damage, or are sopme limiter staps not in place or something. There has to be something causing the problem, and it may not be the obvious components doing it.

On another note: 1 passenger sled means one passenger. So, if all else fails, don't carry a passenger. My cousin was riding with his girlfriend on the back and then he rolled his sled. Not good for either of them. Lawsuits could be braough apon you by her parents, and you can get hurt, or even die.
