Why no snow?

I know everyone has been talking about how there is no snow but from what I have been reading, the farmers almanac was reporting more snow this year then many years in the past. I know that this is just a educated guess but usually it is pretty close or right on. Any ideas on why there is no snow? Scott

The way the streams over the US has worked is that they are not 'sharp' enough to penetrate the moisture in the streams over canada that cause precipitation, otherwise known as our friend, snow. So until this front can get down to the US, dont expect much until mid december. God I hate knowing everything....LOL!

We seldom get any good snow around here untill January

.Sometimes we get lucky and get some snow earlier, like in the winter of 95-96.There was tons of snow by early January, then it rained and warmed up and on the 19th, we had the worst flood in local history!What a mess that was.And, of course, I had just finished restoring an old sled just in time for the snow to go away

.You never can tell what's going to happen with the weather around these parts, but I have a feeling we're gonna be riding in some fat snow real soon

.Just be patient and the snow will come.

i got it, here's why we have no snow, its the snowmobile gods punishing us for getting new/and or, different sleds this year. i do my snow chat every morning, but no luck- damn iowa weather, im moving to alaska

I can't even afford to run the sled I have

The farmers almanac? where did you buy you're copy? out West, cause that is true they are getting alot of snow.

Yes I know because I can't afford it, also i know it isn't MY sled but it is the one Iam putting the miles on so I say it is 'mine.' So now I guess I could refer to it as the one I ride.
