Hi, I was out all weekend riding, did 250 km's and my sled ran great. I came home, shut it down and the next time I started it, everytime I pulled on the brakes, all my guage power went out, kinda flickered. As soon as I let off the brake, power was restored. All the guages on the dash and my lights flickered? Sounds like a short somewhere but any ideas on where to start looking.

Thanks

I'd assume the most obvious would be to start at the brake switch. Then using an ohm meter, work your down the wire all the way back to your brake light. Definately a short some where between the brake switch and brake light.

I've seen the wiring get shorted out in the run between the seat and the tunnel. The seat had a little bit of play and eventually rubbed the insulation on the wires under the seat through... you might want to check that by pulling your seat off if the problem isn't anywhere obvious like Tfin said.
