I was just wondering what i could do to get a little more power from my 03 500 xc sp..But the thing is i want reliability and don't want to change jets or mess with much shit if i don't have to..clutch kit?..new canister? But with the canisters they all say they are just as quiet as oe, i would want one that sounds pretty badass.

Welcome to P-man & Erick's TUSF.

I have a '99 500 XC (just incase my sig isn't working), and from what I've read from other ppl here is that most engine mods don't do much for our relativley small engines.
With boost bottles, reeds, and cans, etc, you will see bigger gains with 7 & 800's.

The best 500 mod seems to be clutching, EPI, Thundershift, etc.

I just put on a 1.25 Camoplast this summer, and hope to see better cross-country running this year, I'll be posting my reviews of this upgrade WHEN we get some snow.

500 is right, I found the same answers pertaining to my 600. Looks like we get to save our money and just ride um! If you do more research on the clutch kits, keep us posted.
