what is the highest lug height/stud height i can run in a xcsp tunnel safely? Will i need tunnel protecters?

on my 2000 xcsp 500 im running a 1.25 inch lug and its barely scraping my heat exchangers in the tunnel, but i think my suspension in need of a rebuild.

It depends, what year is your XC SP?
My '99 Gen II has a 1 1/8 Predator and it is just barely rubbing on the tunnel coolers. But on Rock's 2005 Edge, it looks like a 1.75" will still fit.

Thanks for the post, I picked up a 121" x 15" x 1.5" fully clipped Camoplast Intense, 96 Woody's 1.625" Megabites and tunnel protecters. Hopefully it won't damage anything.

Ouch! Those studs are going to be dangerously close. I have a few black streaks on my coolers from my 1.5" Intense. I'd be scared to add those studs.

No need for tunnel protectors as the coolers already act as protectors.
