On a 94 XLT what is the standard top sprocket tooth count? because im looking to lower 2 teeth in the top sprocket

I believe the XLT's had a 21/39 gear combo. If you want to change two teeth, go to a 20/40, then you can use the same chain too.

You could go up 2 teeth to a 41 tooth bottom. Some sleds can do this without changing the chain and removes most if not all of the dogleg in the chain. 21/39 = 1.86, 21/41 = 1.95, 20/40 = 2.00, 19/39 = 2.05

I'd just take off the chaincase cover and look what's in there, changing gears is pretty common and you don't know if someone's done it to that sled before.
