I have an Xtra 12 rear suspension in my sled, and it takes very little to bottom it out. It has Comet gas shocks in it, and I have the springs on the shocks turned all the way up to try and stiffen it, and the other springs I have turned all the way to stiff, and it still bottoms out on the smallest bumps. I only weigh 140 lbs so it's not like I'm really heavy. What can I do to fix it for this winter? I have to replace the track anyway so I might as well fix it while I have it out. I was going to have the shocks rebuilt, and (not that this will effect it) replace the slides.

The springs in the rear can get weak if they are really old but I put new shocks on one of my old two ups that had this problem and it hasn't bottomed out since. shocks were totally shot. Used to bottom out on every bump.
