Pulled my Xtra 10 form my Xcr and my indy 500 for fresh bearing and sliders and stiffer rear springs.. Noticed my indy idler, or rear shaft was about 3" higher than the XCR's
Did'nt really notice before, but the back coupler has 3 holes. It was loaded in the more forward hole and 1.5 inch of threads showing on the rear tension bolt so my back arm was right against the back blocks, set on more forward.
Putting it in the centre hole is just about where the indy's settings were with 1/4 inch of thread showing.
If the rear is preloaded back, does this initiate faster transfer?
I had booked marked a long time ago differant suggestion on settings.
I don't like skies in the air.
What have you guys tried?
I was not happy with the ride last year, my old XCR was far nicer in choppy conditions.

Advice for setup?

When in Doubt, gas it

The closer the scissor's are to the rear stops when in the machine the sooner you will be coupled to the front. This wont let your rear drop as much on take off and is generally better in the bumps. If you move to a more rearward hole wont that get you closer to the stops? I think so.
