I am biased here, and I don't want to put you down, but i'd say the xc would still win. You and your buddy will have to test this winter and tell us what you find out.
Okay Zigslow now I'm gonna let the cat out of the bag & its not your ZR. Now tell everyone were not the same weight around a 30lbs difference in my favor & add to that I've been riding before any of you! So take your ZR & Goodwin & get ready to dance.
To tell ya the truth I dont really care who wins, yeah right!! Its all in good fun but the guy won't shut up about racing me. Zigslow when your eating my snow flap that should keep you quiet!
It will be very tight, the cat will have the better of the XC on the low end due to the APV but in the long run the XC will pull ahead on the flat, but just barely
Its a 2002 XC with VES its the same thing as artic cats APV not to mention the ZR600 puts 110 horse the Polaris is whopping 114 horse add to that Zigslow is around 210lbs & I'm 170lbs. SEE YA!!!!!!!!!!
Why don't you gents place a wager the winner gets the title of the others sled! Then see who got the balls to play?
I would put my 00 xc600sp stock against the clutched cat any day of the week in the 1/2 mile. I wouldn't even have to try to hard it is just a fact. Sory zigy I like cats very much too, but the polaris PIG is going to win in the 1/2 mi.
Just FYI in the lastest American Snowmobiler they tested the 600 sleds from the big 4. The arcitc cat ZR 600 EFI was the fastest in the 1/4 mile beating the Polaris 600 XC SP and the Ski Doo MXZ 600 and the Yamaha SRX 600. The Arcitc Cat actually won the whole test. Not bashing polaris or anything like that, but I think the Cat might do a little better than you think against that XC, especially with a clutch kit.
