I have no clue what i'm doing when it comes to a sled clutch i understand how they work from research, but have never diagnosed or operated on one what could cause the primary to stick shut i mean all the way shut i think the jacka$$ that had it b4 me reved it hard with the belt off and that's what caused the motor fail could this have scrood the clutch up ?

it can. did you just buy the sled with a stuck clutch? usually if you take two prybars and get between the sheaves you can get it to pop open. you need two bars. to be pretty much across from each other.

yupers bought stuck and blown up ended up buying cases, crank, jackshaft was snaped in half even. Dude told me it needed a piston. Put it all together tried to put the belt on and here i am now lol
oh btw this is the 9 tower if that makes any differance

Ya it opened thanks madcow stuck prybar behind one weight tower and faceplate that one seemed sticky made a awfull creek noise like a squeeky door wd40 is good lol [:)]
