A friend of mine wants to sell me his 05 RMK 900 with a 166. The motor is stock, but there is a few aftermarket parts (pipe, track, suspention, etc.). Here is the catch though: the computer is fried, but he only wants $1000. Everybody I talk to and a lot of what I read says not to buy any Polaris 900, simply because they are "shit". I would love a 166, but is it worth the trouble that I might have? Plus, I haven't looked into how much a computer for a 900 is, but it can't be cheap.

That sounds like a deal to me. Buy!!! Under $1,500 for a capable mountain sled is a no-brainer!
