Ok gentlemen, iv been a polaris guy for a long time and just recently came over to the dark side. Just got a 99 zr 700. The guy said its punched 20 over, got an aftermarket can, dont know what the needles are in the carbs, clutched like crazy(wont engage till 5 grand). The issue is i can only get it to 90mph and no more, and that takes a good stretch of field to do. is this normal or should i have more. Compression is 130-128-128. it takes off like a bat out of hell but thats it. Just wondering what i can do if any thing. thanks for the help.
