I made my own straight pipe as alot of you know, and i've been told that even the slightest change in backpressure can screw my motor.
i dont understand because you see people drilling out thier silencer foam and core and not affecting thier engines people say. Also people buying aftermarket Cans and non specific machine universal cans. i've seen people run no cans too. why is this...
the can/silencer/resonator is not what produces nessesary backpressure. only quiets or changes the tone of the machine.
I have the stock pipe which has no holes or dents and a stright threw can after that, somewhat like a Stinger can, and people are telling me i am about to ruin my engine. I dont understand
Why do other people with no cans or universal cans or drilled out cans not ruin thier machine? i know you reduse power. but im only concered about the saftey of my motor, it only has to last at least this season.
