So for the past few days I have been wrenching on my sled installing all the new goodies I have bought. I put in the new helix i ordered. I installed the slp push and torque arms. I installed a new throttle/oil cable. And I installed the timbersled air intake system. All of that went smoothly. Then I thought I'd take care of some maintence issues and clean the exhaust valves....
Soo where did the dealership mess up. Well last year when they had to rebuild my motor, apparently they forgot to put a washer back in the exhaust valve. It would be #9 in the diagram below.
Now, mind you the sled ran pretty good last year when they finally got it back together for me, but I know with that washer missing that it could potentially run better once i get it fixed! And how much do you suppose that washer is going to cost me? $8.12 at the dealership and they will not give me one because they say I cant prove they forgot it.
