How important/crucial are the aluminum/stainless pieces that attach to the exhaust? Cuz I took my exhaust off and most of the heat tape stuff thats on the inside of those was stuck/melted onto the pipe. I would rather run without those, but if they are actually important than I will put them back on. Added a pic to clarify what I am talking about.
