I'm thinking of getting some led lights for my new sled it's a 95 arctic cat Z440. i was looking at the royal distributing catalogue and they have a set for snowmobiles but i was wondering if i am able to hook them up on my sled do i need a battery? they say it can be wired to any 12volt source. can someone give me some tips on how to wire them up i'm thinking of putting them under the running boards but not sure where the wires would go since my sled doesn't have a battery. Thanks for all the help in advance

Use a inline fuse for sure! I had a hot wire from a heat shield that I did not need (mx helmet) so I used that! I have snowforce!

I went to wal-mart today and picked up to packs of electropods for my sled and decided to put them in the ski wells what do u guys think of them? also i'm thinking of getting two more and putting them under the running boards is this a good spot to put them? what r some good places to put the leds on? i was thinking of putting one under the hood but part of the headlight lights up the inside of the hood so i don't know if you'll be able to see the leds after. here's a pic it's a little blurry but i think you get the picture.

Lookin' good, I wanna give it a try. If you go through deep snow or brushy areas then under the running boards may not be the best place, unless you make a small frame to protect them or recessed area.

Does that have a clear tank? If so behind the tank.
