What silencer do you think I should purchase for a prox2 700? I have just about made up my mind but would like some input from as many people possible. Thanks

run a search on this topic! you will get tons of answers, I love my SLP can on my edge x, but that is just me, its a nice deep tone. Very noticible! but not too loud. Just my thoughts!

If you do a search, you will probably find a poll I started about which silencers people like best. SLP was the most popular last time I checked. I started it about 3 weeks ago so it may on past pages of posts.

i would go MBRP the neighbors wife has the trail one on her 600 edge X and that thing sounds great not to loud but good throaty tone.

I like the SLP personally. Not overly loud, but it has a noticable tone.

Go with the trail can. I have both the RACE and Trail versions for my 700 and they both sound great. The trail can just sounds better and better the more miles you put on it.

Now that I think about that FanaticEdgex I even voted on that pole. I have a SLP on my 2002xcsp700 and it sounds good looking for something a little different just dont want to blow out some windows as I drive down the trail.

You will get a different sound with the trail can - and you wont blow out any windows. [^]

I also have the SLP on my 03 700XC SP and it has a deep sound to it that is not real loud. If the authorities enforce the sound laws in your area you can keep the SLP fairly quiet so that you dont draw to much attention.

MBRP. I put one on my 800 Edge last year. Sounds gooooooooood!

I had an MBRP standard can on my XLT and it sounded very nice. It rumbled in the lower rpms but when the throttle was punched it would let out a nice crisp scream. I would highly recommend MBRP from my own experiance though!
