hi i am 14 i have my dads sled and cant gat the jets set right its a 1966 skidoo 250 rotex please help me if u can





p.s. how do i take the gas tank out if its metal it has crap in it thanks james.

take the seat off.... then un bolt the gas tank after in pluging the fuel line and tip it up side down and drain it out...... as for the jets are you sure they are the right ones for your carb????

Maybe the Problem IS the crap in the tank? Do as Wiggy said and put in a new filter. I have used two filters before, so if you are out and one plugs up you can remove it and still filter the fuel. Clean the carb out real good and try using the stock jets, those old sleds are pretty forgiving, jet wise.
