Use a hair dryer to heat the decal then peel at the corner. I removed a few stickers a few weeks ago and I used "Liquid Wrench" to remove the residue, worked great. Then just wax the hood afterward and you'll never know there was a decal there.

you can also try to pull them off without heating, if the stickers are fairly new they should just pull off, the adheasive can be taken off with goop-off or mineral spirits, make sure that you test try the chemicals in a inconspicous spot just incase. if the decals aren't coming off easily then try heating it doesn't take a lot of heat just enough to get the adheasive warmed up so that the decal will pull away from it.

SKS - check this thread: http://www.snowmobilefanatics.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=32262

I just used a fingernail and a little patience. I tried a heat gun.. it messed up the paint.. it was too hot. And I tried goof-off.. that ruined it too.. I do believe that 3M makes a product called 3M adheasive remover. It's in a red and white contiainer. Your local auto parts shop might carry it. Use it sparingly. And have a lot of patience... Let us know how it works out!

Clean your hood well and polish, should look good

Hair dry and WD-40 worked great. Cleaned right up.

Damn, looks like a lot of you dudes have hair dryers....strange...

What I feel works better than a hair dryer is to leave your Hood, (or whatever the decal is being removed from) out in the intense SUNlight for several minutes and then removed the decal. Works very well, and the excess sticky stuff can be removed with "Goof Off" or Brakleen...

All ive ever used was a hairdryer and it has worked fine for me.
