Well my day started out like this i woke up at 8 in tha morning thats pretty early for me but i went back to bed lol then i woke up at 8:45 and had to meet my co-op teacher at 9
so i talk to him for a bit show him that iam going to strip this boom cylender off one of our machines (Im doin co-op at my dads buisness) well he leaves and i decided to go sledding instead of rippin it apart today.
i was rippin up the ditches on the way to get gas and my fly riser comes way loose so i get gas struggle home take it off put some teeth in it and tighten it up as much as possible and took it out for a boot to test it so i was in jeans and running shoes w/ some mechanic gloves on well i got a bit out of hand i was climbing some hills and sidehilling these very steep ditches while i was sidehilling i was coming up to a huge snowbank that there was no way i could get over so i let off and my ski's were already facing down the hill but there was a lil ditch that didnt look very deep but i was wrong haha silly me, as soon as my right ski started in the ditch it fliped like like a feather in the wind yeap rolled on to buddy's driveway with the new set of bars i put on the night before, I was very happy they did not bend but i did crack and take some paint off my windsheild but nothing to worry about, a couple hours later i go to my freinds house for about 2 hours i start my sled up i didnt really let it warm up that long and started for home. Home is only 3 kms away and it was freezing and yes i was still in shoes, jeans and mechanic gloves i know silly me I almost got to my house and i happend to look down and saw the temp light go on I shut it down right away and it made some wild noises when i did so, I could here the coolant boiling and it sounded to me that a piston with no oil in it was scraping the wall Kinda sounded like somthing trying to start with a really low battery I waited 10 mins i through some snow on the heaters and just a lil bit on the engine to see how fast it would melt away i started it up and the heat light was still on so i let it cool down for a nother five mins i started it up it seemed fine it still had alot of power when i cracked on it, But i wonder why it heated up? there was lots of coolant and it was freezing out and i was running in some powder too.
