Okay, so first off thank you for your time in reading my post and any help you can give me is very much appreciated! I have this 340 fan engine mounted on a Honda Odyssey Go-cart and I'm having trouble trying to find what carbs I need for it or what other carbs will fit on the engine. I have the engine running and starts fine... I have tried cleaning and syncing the carbs but the engine still seems to want to bog after I give it gas. I have good compression and good spark, I am just tired trying to fix it. I rather spend some money and buy new carbs. I'm not even sure if the guy who sold me this machine even has the right carbs on in the first place... I am also wondering if the jets might be the wrong size. My other question is If I can get a good deal on a 440 or 500 fan will it have same engine mount bolt pattern and will the Y pipe bolt right on too? I have my Y pipe cut and welding for the cart and would need that to work. Engine Model # is EC34-2pm-01 One last question I have found a few other parts and engines but it is for Model numbers ending in 02 or 03 instead of my 01, and was wondering if they will work fine. ANY HELP IS MUCH APPRECIATED!!

Do you have the correct exhaust pipe for that engine? If not you won't have the right back pressure and power will suffer severely. Also, if ur trying to run in warmer temps the jetting will be way off. If ur running in 60 deg temps for example, you'll have to drop several jet sizes from stock and watch your plug color. Research the stock carb specs like carb size, main jet, pilot jet, needle jet, etc and see how it carbs match up and go from there. Good luck
