I have a 98 Ski- Doo Summmit 670 X It will start with a pull or two when it starts the idle jumps to 3000 and it sounds like it misses. I have put fresh gas and spark plugs in it and serviced the gearcase. I have also cleaned some black gunk out of the carburators and have not put them back in yet I feel like that is not the total problem. When i give it throttle when I start it it only bogs down and makes a sort of growling noise. Does anyone think its blown up? Or is there something I need to change or clean? I have also drained the oil and put fresh in. Whoever had the sled before me rode it hard there is a backpasck stuck up in the track. Any advice would be helpful the season is here and I have to get this sled going. Thanks

That year of sled as far as ski doo goes usually have engine problems. if you havent already, look into the jetting. if the person that you bought it from was at a diffferent elevation then they likeley have it jetted for the altitude they previously rode at. and look into the cylinders to see if the rings in both the pistons are good if they are broken that might explain the growling noise.
