was at arthur tonight, and on the way to mount forest ,and cant believe the snow they got in 2 days...trails through the bush are awesome, but open field trails are a bit scarce, but still had a blast, and a hell of a lot better riding then where i am,even know that arthur is only 25 minutes away..lots of snow[thumb][:p][:p]

I was surprised too, a lot of people sledded to school today. Did you just trailer to Arthur? Trails by Drayton are good if you take the ditch the first little bit towards moorefield instead of the trail, since no one ever seems to groom the drayton trail ever...

Obvious troll is obvious. You aren't making anyone angry. But at least you've changed my mind about being pro-life. I consider you an inspiration!

And for anyone else in southern Wisconsin, Intellicast is calling for snow on the 6th and later, which is pretty close to what the Almanac I posted later said. I'm not rebuilding my rear shocks in an effort to jinx myself. Also, if anyone is going to be able to ride if we do get that snow (it's going to be on a Monday), I'll be around. I have a feeling a lot of people will be calling in sick to work if we are lucky enough to see snow.

Holy f*ck farmer's almanac was right! I hope it's not too early to celebrate, but I'm ready to pop open the jugs of oil and shred some snow. And I'll have all week before those idiot weekenders show up and trash everything.

Who is going to be around later this week in southern wisconsin?

You guys down south lucked out AGAIN. We are supposed to get 1-3. By the way it is snowing right now, we will be lucky to see 1"

ha, we just had 2 feet of snow come in and bury us on saturday, now their calling for another 14-20 inches tonight into tomorrow. This is all in eastern pennsylvania, 30 minutes north of philadelphia. Who would of thought? Most miles Ive put on my snowmobile around here for years.

In waterloo IA we got about 10in. last weekend and wen i left work about an hour ago it was coming down again.

Dixfield maine. We cant even ride anymore. Started the season strong had a 3 foot pack by new years then it got warm for like 2 weeks and rained. Then It got cold and the trails sucked but where still ridable. Then it got warm again and we started riding our wheelers and dirt bikes again cause there is more mud than snow on the trails. Its cold again now and we are supposed to get 6" wednesday and thats enough for my old beater so Ill be riding.

I've been following the Farmer's Almanac to see how accurate they usually are with their long range forecasts (looking at their long range for january and seeing how it actually turned out). They have been pretty accurate for most of January (sadly), but their report for February looks pretty awesome.

http://www.farmersalmanac.com/weather/USA-Midwest-weather

I don't know how much you can trust it, but if it's true February looks to be pretty awesome for us in the Midwest.
They are predicting vlizzard conditions mid feb for upstate ny and new england...there may be a light at the end of the tunnel. anyone remember valentines week 2007? I recall snowmobiling down the main drag in the city i was going to school in to get some pizza and wings!
I do remember that. I also remember out running the cops goin down the road on my sled cause there was about a foot and a half of snow on them.
