hey guys! I was wondering exactly how fast these F7's are? i have a 96' ultra sp with psi pipes, v force reeds, clutch kit and i havent had the chance to line up with one yet. Do you think i have a chance or would i be hearing myself say "i think i can , I think i can" as his taillight disappeared. I just got my ultra this season so not to many races under my belt either yet. any feedback would be cool thx!

Wow, ripping on the creator of the website isn't the greatest idea polaris...rev, especially w/only 16 posts. You should really watch what you say, especially when people are trying to criticize you for something as annoying as mispelled words throughout your entire reply. In another topic, somebody ALSO brought up your inability to correctly spell words. That should be telling you something! Not to fuel the fire, but...

it would be preety close but i would have to say the F-7 is really fast i rode my frinds and that sled think was just flying

Go for it man I have a 1989 440 Arctic cat JAG 440 AFS with all stock pats but skis. The track is very simple with out studs. I race down my street against an F7 fire cat. He had a forced air intake.
I threw up a snowball. When it landed we pinned it. But I realized I was spinning my track so I eased off on the throttle and then slowly increased my gas tell I blew by him he was still spinning he track. And I reach the end of the crest. I let off on the gas and looked back. He was still half way up the street.

Sorry to burst you little bubble but you got so lucky and u dont even know it. You may as well go race in a hockey rink on your bare feet if u belive that you won because of your sled. Heh was likley spinning his track at 100mph and I could have run faster then he was acctually moving I am sure. Stud up both sleds and race again and he will be at the end before you even engage your clutches. Be real did you really expect people here to beleive that your 89 440 would actually beat one of the fastest production sleds on the market today? oh and by the way come on down I got a couple of F7s for you to race.
with the mods done to the ultra i would have to go with the polaris..i would ride a indy 340 before i got a arctic cat

ya i raced an ultra last week and an 04 f7. i have a 96 ultra with slp pipes ans other mods dyno'd at 160 ponnies. i smoked the ultra with psi pipes. and the f7 well no comp there

i say the f7 but race him anyways for fun!! my friends dad has a f7 and it outran a ultra with pipes clutch kit port and polish and his f7 was stock he beat it in the 1/4 mile. butit was close so give it a try!! later ride safe!!!
