I heard that the Doolys help alot...It was in the newest article of American Snowmobiler Magazine. Nice sled man!!! Hope that the change to the "cat clan" is all good!Originally posted by Ranger_Danger
[br]Nice sleds guys. I'm new to the Cat clan (my own that is, rode my cousin's a lot when I was younger). I sold my XLT 600 this Summer, and I spent the last 9 months narrowing down my sled search to my new F7:
![]()
2006 F7 EFI R
- 153 SS Studs (w/orange square mounting plates)
- 8" Woodys Doolys (might regret buying those, wishing I would have just got single 8"-ers?)
- Added mirrors
Once I get some riding in on it I'll see how the steering handles, and 1. Prob. put 8" single carbides or shaper bars on, 2. Get some new skis if it still doesn't turn as good as I'd like, prob. SLP or C&A. I may also add a temp. gauge, just think they're cool.
Any other suggestions? Thx! I can't wait to ride this beast, I know I'm gonna love it. [8D]
