are you getting a 09 e-tec?
Im going to apply for financing tomorrow.
Honestly... do you really want to put yourself into debt at 17yrs of age just have a new sled? There is a credit crisis at the moment if you didn't know. If you read the fine print those ads that offer really low monthly payments don't help you pay off the machine. When you pay that much you are still accumulating interest and that money does not go towards actually paying the purchase off. Just something to think about...

I'm not mad, I'm just trying to help you understand all aspects of this so you know exactly what your doing and how you could be screwing yourself. You won't own the machine at all actually until its paid for and unless your making some decent sized payments that could be quite a few years and with the depreciation of sleds you will just be losing more and more money. And what happens if you default on this loan? Then you are royally fucked for life. When you get older you will realize how important good credit is, especially these days. It will only get more important as this crisis wears on. You could save up and get a decent used machine, maybe sell your dirtbike and concentrate on having fun in the winter and working in the summer. These days it is all about instant gratification and everyone wants all the toys and to keep up with the Jones'

The financing will be going in my parents name. I have 4500$ saved so im going to put that as a down payment...The monthly payments should and hopefully come down to about 200$ and me and my parents are going to split the payments. I dont want to sell my dirtbike, then i gotta worry about buying another dirtbike next spring. I got a good bike now, all i need is a sled then i dont have to worry about selling or rebuying anything.
