Got a '84 Yamaha SRV when I was 12, that thing was pretty fun, then I got a '89 Exciter 570 L/C. I love the Exciter, light, easy to handle for a 14 year old kid. Then bought my SRX when I was 17. But I'd have to say that the Exciter was my favorite. I'm 18 now and doing my last year of high school. My parents want to get rid of the Exciter, but I just can't part with it. Always ride it when there's not enough snow for the SRX, and of course the occasional grass drag. :)

When I was a kid, my favorite sled was my uncle's '74 Thunderjet - 340 F/A - that thing was a rocket. Actually, it still is a rocket, and it still is one of my favorites! I've always had a thing for the original SRX's, and I used to think that the Blizzards from the late 70's and early 80's were really sharp.

When I was a little guy I liked the 1980 Ski doo Blizzard, 1986 Yamaha Phazer, Skidoo Formula Plus and the 650 Polaris Indy red and black.[8D]

Cheers

OK folks...For those of you who are old enough to remember them (or lucky enough to have an uncle who still had one kicking around), my favorite sled of all time when I was just a lad was the old Husky. Remember this one guys? It had the tractor in front of the sleigh...Oh sweet stuff. I found a picture online of what it looked like...Take a gander!

Mine and my cousins 79 Arctic Cat Lynxx 2000. We bought it from our neighbor at the time, and I think we paid $300 for back in the late 80's. If I could find one today in nice shape, I think I'd have to buy it. Who knows....the damn thing may still be sitting in their fallen down barn after all these years. I should go dig around sometime.

my favorite sled for a long long time was a ZR that was green, it didnt matter what it was as long as it was green, my first green machine was that ZR and i loved it. as of now i dont think ill og to another color, but "maybe" an orange one someday.

So many I guess it would be when I was 12 my neighbor had a sled for many years that was just FAST (well i was 12) It was a Chapparal 740 Snowgoer it sat outside for a long time till one day in the summer I asked him about it all he said was YOU WANT IT?..TAKE IT!..most of my buddys were riding like 440 tnts and Rupps and here comes the muscle.................I had one other Rupp Sled I have only ever seen one not quite sure what it was but it was nice the hood was pretty busted up but it was a Rupp where the sides folded down rather than the hood just coming up any ideas?

Before I was 11 I didnt no what a snowmobile was. When I moved the neighbor had one, a 79 arctic cat jag. I thought it was the neatest thing. I bought it from him and got into riding older sleds

ahhh i was introduced to sleds at the age of four, when i moved to my house now. the nieghbor had 3 polaris's, a 1989 sport 340, and a newer sport 440. one had the roadrunner on the front, the other was tazmanian devil. the other sled they had was a 1989 indy 500 that hauled butt. they gave me a 1972 ski-doo olimpique when i was 7 or 8. i rode that thing like no-body's business. had way too much fun on it. then my parents got me a 1972 Elan with electric start. when i was done with it at age 11, it was worth 75 bucks, the track and skis. my parents got me my current ride in october 1998, had 219 miles on it, costed $2995, and now, the original engine, with 9200 miles is getting laid down, and a 550 is getting dropped in!

The most fun i had on a sled was the olimpique, couldnt kill that thing.
