If you call 5 days before, you won,t be charged anything.

Scott and Dana are good about there reservation cancelations.

Check out there web site for more info. www.knottedpine.com

Don,t give up hope yet. All it takes is a couple of good storms and we will be good to go.

It's to early in the season to call it done already. It is F#*KING fustrating though!! [:(!]

Ya it took a pep talk from Ditch-Banger to get thinking positive again. I'm not too concerned about the forum ride... YET. But we are getting off to a late start.

Its hard to be optimistic when theres a little more than 30 days left before the trip and no snow anywhere in MN......I will be praying every night before bed and I suggest everyone else do the same!! just glad I don't have $9,000.00 bucks sitting in the garage for the wife to bitch about...

If it's not that, I'm sure she'll find something else! Ha!

I know, this winter SUCKS so far but I'm sure we'll have plenty of snow in the area by the end of January. I hope? [V] I'm pretty sure we picked the best spot in MN to hold a ride. If there isn't snow there, tough luck finding it anywhere in the state. On the bright side, at least we aren't the only state still holding out for the snow. It's tough everywhere.

OK. Everybody calm down. Here is a picture that I attached to my first ever post here at SF. This was posted December 29, 2002

Two weeks later I was busting two feet of freshie pow pow up the shore. I'm sure grease-monkey, ditch-banger (aka pigboys dragon test ride sled), phazer-boy and others can attest to, by the end of January there will be riding in one form or the other to do.

Pigboy, that's like telling little children that Santas sleigh broke down and that Christmas will be a couple weeks late!!! I want my presents (cold, deep snow, tall drifts, and groomed trails) NOW!!!! [:D] LOL

hey pigboy, can we do some more water skipping this year. and it wasnt on a lake. lol

Good news (I hope). Scott and Dana from the KPI dropped off their sled for me to work on today and he said that they got about 3 inches of wet snow this last couple of days where all we got was rain. He said that they have a good base and good ice on the lakes, so all we need is one good dumping and we should be good to go.

Lets all start doing the dance!!!

^^^^^ My thoughts exactly!!!

Glad I could help out with the pep talk Darkstar! [:D]

My sled is still all over the country, (and Canada), but all parts should be here when I get back from Arizona, so I am counting on snow while I'm gone. I'm leaving, because anything else I have done is not working to get some SNOW!!!!!!! I better see a white blanket over MN when I come home. And in one month, I will be in Finland ripping some POW! All my friends bailed on me so I will be coming up alone from the west metro, but have a 4 place and truck, so anyone let me know if you want to roll up there with me. I am coming from Minnetonka and also have no place to stay, other than some cousins houses in Duluth, so anyone who has a spot in a room should pm me. thanks guys,

Ahhhhh I see, a good ol snow shower like we used to get back in the 80's!! [:D] I guess that'd do!! LOL

Just got off of the phone with Scott at the KPI, another 3 inches today and still comeing down!!!!
Starting to look a little better every day!!!!! 6 to 8 inches on the ground so far.
