Yup, craigslist. Said $1200 FIRM, NO NEGOTIATIONS. Called him, and just told him I may be interested, but dont have cash right now, I'll call you in a week once I have cash. Called him back once I had $1100, and told him that's how much I had. He said "Nope, $1200 FIRM". Waited another week, said "You wanna take $1100 for it. Im not going any higher, and I can pick it up whenever". After talking for a little, I got him down to $1100. Should have enough money, and then some soon. I have a bunch of sled parts I found, as well as the stuff he gave me. Im working at GAP right now, but Im paying my parents back for the cell phone the bought me, and Im paying back some other money I owe them ( they lent me money to go to the fair and what-not ).

Im looking at Rev 440's, and ProX 440s to trade for it. I sat on the IQ, and it just wasn't for me.
One thing you might want to seriously consider doing is parting out the chassis, especially if you're looking at rev 440's. This is was I did with a 2000 summit 700 and I made bank on that and essentially got paid to keep the motor and 136x2" track. I then put the motor in my 06 440. Selling the 440 stuff paid for all the 600HO stuff I needed for the swap. If the ZX is in decent shape you can still get pretty nice money for parts, especially on dootalk. You'll end up with more then enough money to get the 800 going (plus you'll have some extra 800 stuff to sell) and a decent amount to put towards a rev. You could buy a rev, pull all the 440 stuff and sell it to cut that initial investment, throw the 800 in and be rockin.

I've been searching now for over 3 months for a Rev roller, and I am yet to find one for under 2200. Ive founding running ones cheaper than I've found rollers or wrecked ones.

Buy a complete running sled. You'll come out ahead as ppl think rollers are something special. It will take a higher initial investment but you can sell all the 440 stuff right away to cut it down. In my case the 06 440s come with a 360W stator which is what you need for reverse, so I wanted to keep it. I sold the stripped down 440 motor for $300 w/o a stator, sold the 290W stator from the 700 for like $200 and kept that 360W stator I wanted. The other 440 stuff I traded off to a buddy, and actually have some left. Point being you can really come out good if you're savvy.

I was waiting for you to chime in. Don't know why I found it so funny, but I'm rollin right now...

I think it is cool That Polaris brought back the 700. My bro has an 800 he says it is cool because of the power but the engines do need a good amount of the care because, they do have a lot of vibration and the wear and tear on engine parts is increased from this.

If the sled is in mint shape and won't cost much to get up and running, then I would say keep it. That is a nice sled.
Honestly, after being on a rider forward sled for almost a whole season, I don't ever want to go anywear near non-rider forward. This sled feels like a big box when I stand on it. Im looking more into a ditch banging, play sled, nothing else.

I decided to start stripping the motor down today. Luckily found that I had 3 good cylinders total, and one bad one. Selling one good one, and one bad one, as well as the other powervalves. Sometime in the next couple days, I'll know how many crank cases I have. I may have one, I may have 2. Should be around $190 to build a crank ( i love als snowmobile ). The PTO side on one is shot, and the MAG side on the other is shot. Put 2 together and you have one good crank!

triple, now thats funny, because I actually do pay for all my stuff. If my dad would buy all my stuff for me, you honestly think I would get so many different sleds. Id say no, dad, buy me the Rev XP 800, not the 600. Let me guess, your daddy bought you that fusion, because it cost so much, right? I owned one, your just mad because I know your sleds a piece of crap. Your younger than me, and diss my riding, yet have nothing to back it up, except for a video of you and your friend on your indy or whatever the hell it was, and was trying to do skillies up and down a field. How could my dad work on my sleds all the time as well if he works 7 on 7 off, and doesnt come home for 7 days at a time, and my sled breaks every 5 or so, and I ride every day, how is it possible that he fixes my sled? The truth has been said.

The fusion in a lot of cases is worth more as a rolling chassis. The 600 was a super reliable sled. The 700 was a failure, and the 900 COULD be made a good machine. It scared a lot of people away because of a so-called vibration, which IMO was a lot less shaky than my ZR 800. His 900 though, is a piece, which is what he told me about mine when I owned one. Then he got one, and it was the best thing since sliced white bread with the crust cut off.

I dont know how people put up with you! maybe you should open your eyes, because every post that youve made on this site is either totally pointless or telling someone off. I hope the moderators realize this because you are making this site a worse place.

BOOM that just happened OMG Not to stir any thing up but the fusion might have been cheaper because those 900s were not the greatest machine that ever came out
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah you say my sleds junk eh? 5000$ dont seem cheap to me for a sled with 150hp that would destroy your indy 500 MOD LOL [xx(]

hahahahahahah you havnt been on here long enough to know if i give good info or not. why would i waste my time giving info to people who ask pointless questions? realize how most sensible adults stay away from these threads??

by the way i dare you to go on snowest and say the 900 is a peice, i bet you kids dont realize that the fusion and IQ chassi are the identical chassi, true fact people always talk garbage about the fusion, ever here trash talk about the rmk 900? nope.
