Questions Vary. What do you think the best 80's Yamaha sled is?

The old style V-Max's. Those things were pretty unique. My second choice would be the venerable Phazer--a great all-around sled; IMO.

I almost bought a 1983 Vmax. Yes, I love those phazers. They are very light sleds.

I say phazer because the exciter weighs to much. I had a bravo-Way to slow.

i have an 85 enticer and that thing has taken a huge beatin and still runs great, and doenst get half bad gas mileage neither

even in the 80`s the srx was a quick little sled.

i sure like the old vmax's those things were sweet my buddy has one and we have rode that thing for ever and it still runs good and its fast for its age

I would have to go with the Exciter there nice sled pretty fast to.

The 570 liquid they had in the 80s was a real arm-strecher in its day.
