Tunnel Protectors

Hey guys.

I have to repair my tunnel because my track has eaten it alive:














Someone told me about tunnel protectors, to help prevent this from happening again once it is repaired. Is every sled supposed to have them? What the heck do they even look like? Thanks guys.

How do you make sure they line up with the track clips?

What if your track lug sometimes is in the track clip area? Does this mean you can't use protectors?
